Mr.& Mrs. Hopkins were the best neighbours to live beside growing up. My sister and I would love helping them pick up the crabapples in the old KFC buckets lined with plastic bags as Mrs.Hopkins was so fussy :) we loved getting rewarded with our favourite chocolate bars when we were finished. I always remember them banging on the window when of the kids would walk on their grass after school, my sister and I knew better and loved watching all the kids getting in trouble.
My mom always went to visit Mrs Hopkins after she moved away from Lowcrest Blvd. And she was always so sweet and asked how my sister and I were. Mrs Hopkins was always a little sweetheart ❤️ She lived to an amazing age and her sweet little voice and smile will be missed by the Copeland Family

She was always a lady. She and her sister Ada (Mick) were angles on earth. I was a child, and they treated me with so much respect. They made me feel that I was somebody, when life was quite uncertain. I'm talking about the 1930's and 1940's.
